Rick Hok-leung Cheung (Vocalist)
Rick graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts School of Dance (majoring in Musical Theatre) in 2003 and he is a holder of ISTD intermediate Tap Certificate. Rick has worked with many famous choreographers and musical directors.
In 2007, Rick has been a full-time performer in Australia for P&O Cruises , and worked as choreographer and soloist in “Positioning Dance Series” (Hong Kong Theatre Design Co. Ltd.), the program winner of Hong Kong Dance Awards 2011.
In 2013, Rick has been awarded “THE BEST ACTOR IN LEADING ROLE” by the 6th Hong Kong Theatre Libre, with the role Adam in “The Shape Of Things”.
Rick involves remarkable repertoires including, “Title of Show”(Art Peak), “The Laramie Projects”, “The Sketches of 1967 A&B”, “1967”,“Gross Indecency: The three trails of Oscar Wilde” (Pants Production), “Pillow Talk” & “Suddenly Single (Metroholik), “The Shape of Things” (KO The Box), “Journey to the West” (CCDC), “Fields of Dream” & “Scrooge” (HKREP), “The Two City – Hong Kong x Taipei Dance Festival”, “The Gnoestic Eden”(Pleroma Theatre), “Once and the Only Night” & “Going Going Gone” (The Radiant Theatre), “Amadeus” & “Merchant of Venice” (Chung Ying Theatre), and last but no least, “Octave” (W Theatre x East Asia Entertainment Ltd.).
Besides acting and dancing, Rick also debuted his first concert as a singer-song-writer in 2011 that held a remarkable reputation. During 2012 – 14 Rick is a contracted TV Artiste in HKTV. Moreover, Rick is now a freelance choreographer, actor, and singer.
